     "markdown": "Ibn al-Athir relates that Ayatghamish came to Baghdad, and the caliph honoured him with a robe of honour and sent him to Hamadhan. He reached the lands of Ibn Tarjam, waiting for the armies of Baghdad. The caliph had removed Sulayman ibn Tarjam from the command of his Turkmen tribe and appointed his younger brother. {cite:kamil-ibn-al-athir p.360}\n\nSulayman sent to Mengeli to inform him of Ayatghamish's situation.
