     "markdown": "قادت هوازن ومعها [[group/thaqif|ثقيف]] ردّة [[event/battle-of-hunayn|حنين]] سنة 630م على بيعة الفتح، تحت راية [[person/malik-ibn-awf|مالك بن عوف]]، فانكسر الحلف بعد رمية السهام في الوادي {cite:ibn-ishaq-guillaume}. وفي التراث السني يُروى أن النبي اختار يوم القسم عبيد حوازن أرضهم على عبيد قريش «لأنهم أقرب إلى الرضاع» — [[person/halima-al-sadiyya|حليمة السعدية]] مرضعته منهم {cite:ibn-sad-tabaqat-bewley}.\n\nأسلم مالك وقادتها بعدها، وصاروا في عهد أبي بكر من فرسان الردة والفتوح {cite:watt-1956-medina}."
