     "markdown": "كان في الثانية عشرة مع أبيه وابن عمه المظفر محمود الثاني أمير حماة عند حصار مرقب سنة 684هـ/1285م، وشارك في حملات لاحقة على الصليبيين. ولما أُلغيت إمارة حماة الأيوبية سنة 698هـ/1299م خدم ولاتها المماليك، وكسب رضا السلطان الناصر محمد بن قلاوون. وعُيّن واليًا على حماة في 18 جمادى الأولى 710هـ/14 أكتوبر 1310م، وفي 712هـ/1312م صارت ولايته مدى الحياة. وفي 719هـ/1319-1320م حج مع السلطان، ولما عادوا إلى القاهرة ألبسه السلطان شعار السلطنة ولقب الملك المؤيد. وتوفي بحماة في 23 محرم 732هـ/27 أكتوبر 1331م. {cite:encyclopaedia-of-islam-2 vol. 1 p. 137}"

     "markdown": "At twelve he was with his father and his cousin al-Muzaffar Mahmud II at the siege and capture of Marqab in 684/1285, and he took part in later campaigns against the Crusaders. After the Ayyubid principality of Hama was suppressed in 698/1299, he served its Mamluk governors and won the favour of the sultan al-Nasir Muhammad b. Qala'un. He was appointed governor of Hama on 18 Jumada I 710/14 October 1310, and in 712/1312 the governorship became a life principality. In 719/1319-20 he went with the sultan on the pilgrimage, and on the return to Cairo he was invested with the insignia of the sultanate and the title al-Malik al-Mu'ayyad.
