     "markdown": "Muhammad ibn Dawud al-Nasimi al-Manzilawi was a pious shaykh who held firmly to the Sunna in his words and deeds. He wrote a treatise called \"The Path of Muhammadan Poverty\", in which he recorded the sayings, actions and states of the Prophet that were visible to his community. He used to say: \"We have no shaykh but the Messenger of God\" {cite:shadharat-dhahab p. 426}.\n\nHe hosted guests and served the poor and the destitute who stayed with him, and cleaned up after them without setting himself apart from them. Sometimes a guest arrived at night when he had nothing to offer, so he would put a pot on the fire with water and light the fire under it. People would sometimes see rice and milk in it, sometimes rice and sweets, sometimes meat and broth, and sometimes they even found chicken in it. His virtues were many. He died in the town of al-Nasimiyya and was buried beside his lodge, where his visible tomb is still visited {cite:shadharat-dhahab p. 426-427}."
