Identity is grounded on the full name (Bandar bin Abdul Aziz bin Siraj bin Abdul Malik Baleela), the 1975 Mecca birth and the Haram imamate, matching the queue line 'Bandar Baleela — 1975–Living'. Existence was checked by filename fragments, by Arabic label and by QID across data/person/ before writing; the similarly named ahmad-bukhatir is a different man. The English article's claim of a 2026 appointment as Mufti of the Makkah Province rests on one weak news site and is not carried; the Arabic article's narrower fatwa-commissioner appointment is what the record states.",
