     "markdown": "Ibn Abi Asim, al-Tabarani and Ibn Manda relate — through Abd al-Rahman ibn Bishr, who is weak — that Durra came to Medina an emigrant and lodged in Rafi' ibn al-Mu'alla's house; women of Banu Zurayq told her: \"you are the daughter of Abu Lahab, in whom God's saying descended in [[passage/quran-111-1|al-Masad 1]]\". She went to the Prophet and told him; he prayed the noon prayer with the people, sat on the pulpit and said: \"people, why am I being hurt in my family? By God, my intercession reaches my kin — even Suda', Hukm and Sulhab will it reach on the Day of Resurrection\" {cite:ibn-hajar-isaba p. 1867}.\n\nIbn Manda recorded, through Yazid ibn Abd al-Malik al-Nawfali who is feeble, a similar story about Subay'a bint Abi Lahab. Ibn Hajar says: she may have had two names, or one of them a nickname, or the story may have recurred for two women; Abu Nu'aym said Durra is the right one {cite:ibn-hajar-isaba p. 1868}."
