The English Wikipedia article, citing L'Obs (14 January 2011) and Libération (21 October 2014), says he was raised in a Catholic family and converted to Islam in his 20s; the French article dates the conversion to 2007 and the Arabic article repeats the in-his-twenties account from the same L'Obs piece. The English article's categories file him under “Converts to Sunni Islam from Roman Catholicism”, but a category filing is not a statement in a source's text, and it stands alone in one article. Wikidata Q1935 gives his religion as Islam (Q432), generically. Lane practice does not record a convert's former faith, so no christian segment is written; and a documented conversion, a category filing and a generic structured value are not two independent sources naming a school. Under the two-source rule and the doubt rule, no faith value beyond unknown is recorded, with the conversion itself documented here and in the prose.",
