     "markdown": "Abu Hatim reported that his memory changed before his death and some narrated from him while he was confused, but when Ahmad asked Ibn 'Ulya whether al-Jurayri had truly become confused he answered \"No — the old man grew frail\". Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani preferred him to Sulayman al-Taymi because he combated the Qadariyya.
