Sulayman ordered a short-walled, shaking vessel to be filled with water. A purebred horse was brought, and it hastened, lowered its hoof, stretched its neck and drank. Then Amr's horse was brought; it hastened and did as the purebred had done, then bent one of its hooves slightly and drank.
