     "markdown": "لما مات النبي قام طليحة في بني أسد مدّعيًا الوحي، فاجتمعت إليه أحياء من غطفان وطيء، فكانت شرّته أقرب فتن الردة إلى المدينة {cite:tabari-donner-1993}.\n\nسار إليه خالد بن الوليد فكسره بـ[[event/battle-of-buzakha|بزاخة]] سنة 632م، وفرّ طليحة إلى الشام خارج سلطان الخلافة {cite:tabari-donner-1993}.\n\nثم عاد فأسلم، ويقول التراث إنه شهد الوقائع في العراق من جند المسلمين ومات في خلافة عمر {cite:ibn-sad-tabaqat-bewley}.\n\n:::perspectives\nيعدّه التراث السني مرتدًّا مدّعيًا رجع عنه الله إلى الإسلام، فيذكر بقية سيرته في الفتوح.\n\nأما المؤرخون فيقرؤون حركته محاولة قبلية لحفظ الاستقلال عن المركز الجديد، وعودته نموذجًا لإعادة استيعاب الخلافة للقادة المهزومين.\n:::"
