     "markdown": "He collected taxes, then fled to the marshes for fear of the sultan. He lived among the reeds and thickets, feeding on the fish and water birds he caught.      "markdown": "Mu'izz al-Dawla sent against him his vizier Abu Ja'far al-Saymari, who fought him many times and captured his family and dependants. Imran went into hiding. When Imad al-Dawla died and al-Saymari marched to Shiraz, he came out of hiding, returned to his affairs and grew strong {cite:kamil-ibn-al-athir p.365-366}."
