     "markdown": "Yahya ibn Abd Allah ibn Hasan al-Alawi, a Hasanid Alid. al-Suyuti reports that Abd Allah ibn Mus'ab al-Zubayri slandered him before al-Rashid, claiming that he had invited him to rise. Yahya challenged him to mubahala in the presence of al-Rashid, and al-Zubayri died on the same day.      "markdown": "al-Mas'udi reports that he went to the Daylam seeking protection, and the lord of the Daylam sold him to the agent of al-Rashid for a hundred thousand dirhams, and he was killed. It is also reported that he was thrown into a pool with starving beasts of prey, which held back from eating him, and then a corner was built over him of gypsum and stone while he was still alive {cite:muruj-al-dhahab p.330}."
