     "markdown": "al-Mas'udi reports that he rose at al-Juzjan in Khurasan at the end of the year 125 AH, denouncing injustice. Nasr ibn Sayyar sent him Salm ibn Ahwaz al-Mazini, and he was killed by an arrow in his temple and crucified at al-Juzjan {cite:muruj-al-dhahab p. 200}.\n\nThen [[person/abu-muslim-al-khurasani|Abu Muslim]] took down his body and prayed over it.
