Prophetic adab is the conduct a believer is commanded in word and deed toward God and toward people. Ibn Rajab draws from 'whoever believes in God and the Last Day' that it includes speaking good or keeping silent, honoring the neighbor, and honoring the guest.

Prophetic adab (proper conduct)
A grown-up reads you the short text; the longer one you read yourself.
Prophetic adab is the sum of conduct a believer is commanded in word and deed and in relation to God and His servants. Ibn Rajab derives from 'whoever believes in God and the Last Day' that these qualities are of the qualities of faith, and divides the hadith's three commands into what concerns God's right — speaking good or keeping silent — and what concerns the servants' rights — honoring the neighbor, withholding harm, honoring the guest. He reports from Ibn Abi Zayd that the sum of good conduct branches from four hadiths: speak good or be silent, leave what does not concern you, do not become angry, and love for your brother what you love for yourself.
