Cordoba

A grown-up reads you the short text; the longer one you read yourself.

Cordoba is a historic city in al-Andalus, famous for its Great Mosque, grand libraries, gardens, and beautiful monuments.

Cordoba was the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate in al-Andalus and one of the world's greatest cities during the Middle Ages. Situated on the Guadalquivir River, it was famous for paved and illuminated streets, vast libraries, its university at the Great Mosque, and the palace-city of Madinat al-Zahra.
