  2. Which part do you like best: learning the names, or the stars, the seas and the birds? Why?

🛶 The man with the big ark

Noah (peace be upon him) called his people to goodness for nine hundred and fifty years, and he never gave up. At God's command he built a great ark and carried aboard a pair of every creature. After the great flood, he walked out of the ark safe and sound, with all who were with him.

Questions to help you

  1. How many years did the prophet call his people to goodness? Describe his patience in your own words.

🌙 The seeker of the Creator

Abraham (peace be upon him) looked at the stars and asked: could this be my Lord? But he watched them set. He looked at the moon, then the sun — and saw them set too. Then he knew the Creator must be greater than anything that sets, and He never sets at all.

Questions to help you

  1. What did he see in the sky first? Tell what happened, in order.
  2. Why wasn't he convinced that the stars, the moon or the sun could be the Creator?
  3. What big question was he searching for the answer to?

  2. What did he do when there was no road ahead of him?
