Definition
Muyawama means dealing with a person by the day, or hiring him for a day. It is the fixing of a period of use to one day or several days. 1
Related terms
A fixed term (ajal) is the future period to which a matter is attached; it may be set in days, months or longer, and its object need not be use. A time limit (ta'qit) makes a matter effective now and ending at a fixed time. Monthly hiring (mushahara) fixes use by the month, as muyawama does by the day. 1 2
