The ijazas

Ibn Rajab collected ijazas from the shaykhs of his time while still young; the editor notes that 'Ibn al-Nakib and others gave him ijaza', and the Encyclopaedia of Islam names two licences: Ibn al-Nakib's and Sa'd al-Din al-Nawawi's. 2 1
