    Early life and education

Abdel Daim Saleh Kaheel is a Syrian engineer and researcher born in Homs; Wikidata gives his birth as 10 May 1966, while the Arabic article's text gives the year 1968, so his birth year is contested between the sources. He studied mechanical engineering at Damascus University and completed postgraduate studies there, including a diploma in fluid-mechanics engineering in 1999 and an education diploma in 2001 1 2.

    The Encyclopedia of Scientific Miracles

Kaheel is the founder of the "Encyclopedia of Scientific Miracles" in the Qur'an and Sunnah (kaheel7.net) and the author of its material; the site's own About page presents the project as his encyclopedia and names his YouTube channel (@kaheel777) as the project's Scientific Miracles channel. The site holds more than 1,900 documented scientific items — articles, studies, books, images and videos — with a parallel presence on social platforms. He works as a scientific-miracles researcher with the Dubai International Holy Quran Award and is a member of the World Commission on Scientific Miracles in the Qur'an and Sunnah 3 4 1.

    Research and books

Active in research since 2005, Kaheel built a computer programme for Qur'anic statistics in support of numerical-miracle research. He has written more than forty books on scientific and numerical miracles, among the best known Ishraqat al-Raqm Sab'a fi'l-Qur'an al-Karim (Radiances of the Number Seven in the Holy Qur'an), on the number seven, and Rawa'i' al-I'jaz fi'l-Hadith al-Nabawi (Marvels of Miracles in the Prophetic Hadith), alongside works on legislative and unseen miracles and on prophetic medicine 1.

    the Khalid shrine outside Homs

The shrine outside Homs popularly ascribed to Khalid ibn al-Walid; al-Umari rejects the ascription decisively — Khalid was dismissed by Umar, taken to Medina and died there — and assigns the tomb to Khalid ibn Yazid ibn Mu'awiya.
