    Summary

Asim Khan is a British Muslim scholar, author and lecturer known as Shaykh Asim Khan. His Islam21c author biography records five books, including the Simple Seerah and the best-selling "The Heart of the Qur'ān", a commentary on Surat Yāsīn. 1

    Education and career

By the same biography, he is a Hafidh of the Qur'ān, gained a Masters in Pharmacy from University College London, and studied Arabic and Qur'anic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt; his true passion is stated to lie in tafsir studies, with numerous online lectures on Qur'ān-related topics. 1 The Muslim Research and Development Foundation announced his book Elevate Your Salah, on the prayer. 2 Muslim Central distributes a podcast of his lectures, described there as a UK scholar known for his tafsir sessions, with 144 episodes released since September 2017. 3

    Positions and faith

This section should be read as a presentation of what the sources give, not as a verdict of the museum.

No source consulted names a legal school or theological affiliation for Asim Khan personally. His published work includes a multi-part commentary series on al-Tahawiyyah; teaching a creed text is activity, and an institute's milieu is background, not a school attestation for the man, so no faith value is recorded for him. 1 2
