Overview

'Imran ibn Talha ibn 'Ubaydallah, an early-deceased Successor — some say he was born in the Prophet ﷺ's lifetime; he narrated from his father, his mother Hamna and 'Ali, while his nephews Ibrahim ibn Muhammad and Mu'awiya ibn Ishaq, and Sa'd ibn Tarif, narrated from him. Ahmad al-'Ijli called him a trustworthy Successor; some said his progeny died out. 1
