    Summary

Neveen Mokhtar is an Egyptian Islamic preacher and a female preacher (wa'iza) at the Ministry of Awqaf, known for a dawah discourse that pursues household problems and society's issues, her name being associated with the family, women, child-rearing and marital relations. 1

Mokhtar appears on a number of television programmes and interviews, presents the programme "Nafahat Imaniyya" (Faith Fragrances) on Al-Jumhuriya TV, and publishes short dawah clips on her TikTok account. 2 3

    Career

Mokhtar works as a female preacher at Egypt's Ministry of Awqaf, and a profile of her describes her presence in dawah and preaching, and in the ministry's various activities, as considerable, and counts her among the best at explaining the Hajj rites with ease and simplicity. 1

In her television talks she treats questions of worship — fasting, prayer, reading the Qur'an and Hajj — alongside everyday family issues, on programmes including "Ana wa Huwa wa Hiya" (Me, Him and Her) on Sada El Balad and "Ma'a al-Nas" (With the People) on Al-Nas channel. 1 4

On 6 October 2026 she appeared on "Ana wa Huwa wa Hiya" on Sada El Balad with Sherif Nour El-Din and Aya Shoaib, speaking of the homeland as a foundation of life and stability and of the blessings of security, health and daily sustenance. 4

Her TikTok account (@nevein_mokhtar) carries her short-form activity; its profile metadata, when checked on 26 October 2026, showed 9,243 followers and 42.8 thousand likes. 3

No YouTube channel of her own was found; her video presence runs through the television channels she appears on and her TikTok account, and no independent biographical source giving a birth date could be verified. 1 3

    Works

Among her programmes is "Nafahat Imaniyya" on Al-Jumhuriya TV, one of whose episodes is "How to make the best use of the month of Ramadan". 2

The subjects of her talks include fairness among children and rejection of violence in upbringing, women's rights and the concept of qawama (guardianship), domestic violence, and the effect of expressing love and containment on a child's personality. 1

Social media falls within her files too: she has warned against using it to defame others and publish private photos and secrets, and against fabricated content made with artificial-intelligence techniques. 1

    Positions and criticism

This section presents what the sources report about her work; it is not the museum's verdict on her or on her opinions.

Her stated position in the October 2026 interview is that speaking about negatives and shortcomings does not conflict with preserving the homeland, provided the value of security and stability is recognised, and that sharing an unverified piece of information may place its sharer in sin if harm or confusion results. 4

On the family, she stresses fairness in treating children, rejects torturing or beating them, and holds that no disagreement, however large, justifies violence or taking a human life. 1

The available sources record no criticism directed at her or at her discourse. 1
