Overview
The Muzaffarid state of Yazd, which took Isfahan, Fars and Kerman after the Hulaguids had died out. Their autocracy began in 736 AH and ended in 795 AH. 1
Origin
Their origin is Ahmad al-Muzaffar, from the people of Yazd, who joined the state in the days of Abu Sa'id and was appointed to guard the roads in Fars. 1
Autocracy
When Abu Sa'id died in 736 AH, his son Sharaf al-Din Mahmud became autocratic in Isfahan and Fars. Then his brother Mubariz al-Din Muhammad ibn al-Muzaffar overcame Kerman, then seized Shiraz and Isfahan, and killed his nephew Abu Ishaq, the emir Shaykh. 1
The end
His son Mahmud inherited the kingship, then Shah Shuja', Mansur ibn Shah Wali and Zayn al-Abidin ibn Shuja' al-Mulk, until Tamur attacked them in 795 AH and took their rule from Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd and Kerman. 1
