Summary
Ubaid Raza Attari — Maulana Ubaid Raza Attari Madani — is a Pakistani preacher of Dawat-e-Islami. 1 He is the elder son of the movement's founder, Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, and his designated successor. 2
His YouTube channel, @maulanaubaidrazaattari, counted 167,000 subscribers in vidIQ's update of 5 November 2026 — a dated platform figure, not a museum-verified fact. 3
Family and designation
Dawat-e-Islami's own founder page states, in its Family section: "He has two sons and one daughter. His eldest son is Ubayd Raza al-Madani, who was appointed the shaykh's successor and spiritual representative." 2 The movement styles him Khalifa-e-Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat — successor of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, his father's title within the movement — and its April 2026 announcement of his Rotterdam speech says he follows "in the footsteps of his respected father". 4 The designation is a matter of his father's appointment within the movement, and it is stated here in prose, as the sources state it. His channel's official description dates the appointment: "On 11th Rabi-ul-Akhir 1437 AH (22 January 2016), he was officially appointed as the successor by his honorable father." 5
Preaching
His public work is preaching at the movement's Sunnah-inspired gatherings, in Pakistan and on tour. 4 From 19 April to 11 May 2018 he toured Germany, Norway, Greece, Italy, Spain, France and Holland, inaugurating a new Faizan-e-Madinah in Offenbach and delivering Sunnah-inspired speeches, of which a travelling companion's summary survives in the movement's magazine. 1 The movement's April 2026 announcement records a further European preaching tour that year. 4
His channel carries his bayans (speeches): its most-viewed videos include his special bayan at the Nishtar Park grand gathering in 2026 and a 2025 question-and-answer podcast. 3
Positions and faith
This section presents what the sources give, not a verdict of the museum.
The sources for his record are his own movement's pages, and they present him through his office and his preaching, not through a personal statement of school. 2 1 His father's movement milieu and his father's documented affiliation are family background and milieu, which never count as attestation for the son; a single movement-managed channel description calling him a disciple in the Qadiriyyah silsila is preserved in his data record's faith note, and under the museum's two-source rule no faith value is recorded for him. 5
Reach
His reach anchor is his personal channel: @maulanaubaidrazaattari counted 167,000 subscribers, 6,415,644 total views and 1,925 videos in vidIQ's update of 5 November 2026, on a channel created on 27 October 2018 with its country set to Pakistan. 3
