Summary

Us Rah Par ("On That Path") is the second solo album of the Pakistani pop singer Junaid Jamshed, released in 1999 on Sony BMG after he and the rest of Vital Signs took a break, recorded in 1998–1999 and produced by himself. 1 2 The museum records it because Junaid Jamshed is in the Modern Islam Browser for his naats, under the founder's decision of 7 November 2026.

The album

It was a critical and commercial success and continued his work with the writer Shoaib Mansoor, as on the Vital Signs albums; the title song is a slow blues number with a video directed by Bilal Maqsood of Strings, but the techno-flavoured 'Na Tu Aaegi' gave the album its commercial push, and three songs were composed by Biddu. 1 It has twelve songs, among them 'Aankhon Ko Aankhon Ne' and Salman Ahmad's 'Jaagi Re'. 1

Afterwards

The Express Tribune wrote in 2017, after his death, that he used 'Us Rah Par' to foreshadow his transformation: he left pop after his next album, Dil Ki Baat, and turned to naat with Jalwa-e-Janan in 2005. 1 3 4
