Summary
Sha'rawi holds that tasbih is declaring God far from what does not befit His majesty, and taqdis is purifying Him of everything that is not His, and that the angels' phrase joins the two 1.
Meaning
He says that "subbuh quddus" means one far above whatever does not suit His majesty, and pure of every defect. He holds that tasbih belongs only to absolute perfection, which is why no one is addressed with the same formula of glorification 1.
The angels' words
Not yet checked
This is Sha'rawi's reading. His derivation of "quddus" from the bucket used for purification is not checked against a lexicon. No academic or other-tradition view is set out here.
