Summary
The book gives words of Uthman ibn Affan (may God be pleased with him) after he consulted people about the troubles in Medina. 1
He says every matter has a door through which it is approached, and that the trial feared for the community has a door that must be shut. He calls for gentleness, for giving people their rights and pardoning them, while God's limits are not to be compromised. 1
Elsewhere on the page he addresses the people of Medina, asks them to restrain others from wrongdoing, and warns against defying his order. 1
