Summary
Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Hasan's sermon from the Medina pulpit when he rose against al-Mansur in 145 AH. He accuses the caliph of injustice and calls the people to rise.
The book places the sermon in its section on early Abbasid oratory and ties it to the history of the Talibids and the unrest of the Umayyad period before it. 1
The speaker accuses al-Mansur of injustice and of altering what the first Muslims built, and calls on the sons of the Emigrants and Helpers to rise with him. The accusation is the speaker's own, recorded as his words, not the museum's judgement. 1
