Overview
Al-Mas'udi says that the Prophet ﷺ went out to Syria on the trade of Khadija with her servant Maysara. The monk Nestor looked at him from his hermitage, when a cloud was shading him, and said that this is a prophet and the last of the prophets. 1
Timing
Al-Mas'udi dates it to four years, nine months and six days after the war of al-Fujjar, and before the building of the Ka'ba. 1
This is a report that al-Mas'udi transmits. The museum presents it as he gives it, and it needs an additional source.
