Overview

Bajila is a tribe inclined towards Yemen. According to al-Mas'udi, Bajila and Khath'am are said to descend from Anmar ibn Nizar ibn Ma'add. 1

People differ about them. Some counted them among the Yemenis, and others made them descendants of Anmar, who migrated to Yemen after he put out the eye of his brother Mudar. 1

In Ibn Hisham's biography

Ibn Hisham mentions that "Qays Kabba of Bajila" came to the Prophet ﷺ sick, and he permitted them to use his milch camels. When they recovered, they killed his shepherd Yasar and drove off the camels. Kurz ibn Jabir pursued them, and they were punished. See the account and its parallels. 2
