Overview

A household of viziers in Cordoba, known in the way that Ibn Hubayra was known among Fazara. 1

The vizierate and autocracy

They were viziers of the Umayyads. After the caliphate broke apart, Abu al-Hazm Jahwar ibn Muhammad ruled Cordoba in an autocratic way, without going beyond the title of vizier. 1

After him, in the year 435 AH, the power passed to his son Abu al-Walid. 1
