Ali ibn Yadar
Ali ibn Yadar went out to Sus openly opposing the Almohads in the year 651 AH. He settled at the fortress of Tiyunudin, built it and fortified it, and overcame the fortress of Tizakht. The tribes of Kazula, Lamta, Zakan and Lakhs obeyed him. He stirred up trouble against the Almohad governor at Taroudant, and defeated the army of Ibn Asnak. 1
After the Marinids entered Marrakesh
When the Banu Marin took Marrakesh in the year 668 AH, Ali ibn Yadar became autocratic. He took Sus, seized Taroudant, Ifri and all its other towns, until he was killed in the same year. 1
His nephew Ali ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hasan took his place, and then his brother Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Yadar, until the power of the Banu Marin overcame them and their affairs came to an end. 1
