Overview

The Jarudiyya are a sect of the Zaydiyya. Most of them held that the imamate is valid only among the Quraysh. That is the view of Abu Hanifa, most of the Murji'a and all the Shi'a sects, the Rafida and the Rawandiyya, as al-Mas'udi reports. 2
