Al-Nami, Abu al-Abbas Ahmad al-Darimi al-Masisi (d. 399, or 370/1) — foremost panegyrist of Sayf al-Dawla after al-Mutanabbi; philologist whose dictation-sessions at Aleppo carried the Akhfash-Durstuya-Suli line 1.
