أبو النجم بدر بن حسنويه الكردي. بعد موت أبيه سنة 369هـ اختاره عضد الدولة من بين إخوته وقواه بالرجال، فضبط تلك النواحي وكف عدوان من فيها من الأكراد. ويصفه ابن الأثير بأنه استقام أمره وكان عاقلاً. 1
