Overview

Dhu al-Thudiyya, a man of the Kharijites, whose story appears in al-Mas'udi's "Meadows of Gold" in the account of al-Nahrawan. 2

After al-Nahrawan

According to al-Mas'udi, the Prophet ﷺ had said that he would be killed among the renegades. Ali looked for him among the dead after al-Nahrawan, and was told that they had not found anything. He insisted that the man had been killed on that day and ordered the company to search for him. 2

They found him in a place of soft ground with about a hundred dead above him, and they brought him out dragged by his leg. 2

His real name and the details of his life are not given in the data; an additional source is needed.
