Overview

A poet satirised Yahya ibn Aktham in a verse saying that a judge sees the hadd penalty for fornication but sees no harm in sodomy. Al-Ma'mun lowered his head in shame, then said: Ibn Abi Nu'aym is to be exiled to Sind. Al-Mas'udi relates this. 2
