Overview
Ibn al-Khashshab, Abdallah ibn Ahmad ibn Ahmad ibn Abdallah ibn Nasr al-Khashshab, a grammarian from Baghdad. The Mawsu'at A'lam al-Ulama' wa al-Udaba' says that he was born around 492 AH (1099 CE) and died around 567 AH (1171 CE). These two dates need an additional source. 1
