Overview
Khayran al-Saqlabi, a freedman of al-Mansur ibn Abi Amir, and a commander. He was appointed over the fortress of Almería, which Abd al-Rahman al-Nasir had built, and so the fortress came to be called "the Fortress of Khayran". 1
