Overview
Ma'bad al-Juhani, one of the theologians on predestination (qadar). Ibn al-Nadim, relaying from al-Balkhi, says that he followed Abu Yunus al-Aswari, known as Sansawayh. Abu Yunus was a man of the Asawira, and the first to speak on predestination and Mu'tazilism. It is said that Sulayman ibn Abd al-Malik spoke against him. 2
