Overview

Musa ibn Abdallah, one of the survivors of the battle of Fakh. Al-Mas'udi relates that when he informed on him to al-Rashid, he swore an oath to Abdallah ibn Mus'ab, disavowing God's might and power. Then al-Mas'udi says that the punishment was hastened upon him three days before, when he was struck with leprosy, his body turned black, and the earth swallowed his grave twice. 1

Al-Mas'udi relays a hadith from his grandfather Ali that whoever swears an oath in which he disputes God's might and power, God hastens punishment for him within three days. The report is attributed to al-Mas'udi. 1

The year of his death and the grade of the report are not recorded in the data, and need an additional source.
