Overview

Nastura the monk saw the Prophet on Khadija's trading journey to Syria with her servant Maysara, according to al-Mas'udi 2.

The report

The monk was in his hermitage when he saw a cloud shading the Prophet. He said: "This is a prophet, and this is the last of the prophets." This happened between the Prophet's presence in the fourth war of al-Fijar and the building of the Ka'ba, as al-Mas'udi mentions 2.

An additional source is needed for a second transmission of the report.
