Overview
Qatari ibn al-Fujaa. According to al-Baladhuri, he was among the nobles with Abd al-Rahman ibn Samura in the campaign to Kabul. 1
al-Mas'udi reports that he wrote verses to Sumayra ibn al-Ja'd inviting him, until Sumayra joined him. Sumayra wrote a verse to al-Hajjaj declaring that he had abandoned every religion other than the religion of the Kharijites. 2
