Overview

Shahak al-Khadim was a companion of al-Musta'in when he was carried from Wasit 1.

His account

Al-Musta'in told him at al-Qatul to look at the leader of the people, and if it was Sa'id al-Hajib, then he was lost. Shahak carried the jewel of the caliphate, the mantle, the staff and the sword to al-Mu'tazz, together with Ubayd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Tahir 1.
