Yaqub Ibn Tariq

Ya'qub ibn Tariq, one of the excellent astrologers ².

Ibn al-Nadim mentions his book "Taqti' Kardajat al-Jayb" (The Sine Quadrants), his book "Ma Irtafa'a min Qaws Nisf al-Nahar" (What Has Risen of the Arc of the Meridian), and his book "al-Zij Mahlul fi al-Sindhind li-Darajah Darajah" (The Zij, Solved in the Sindhind degree by degree). These are two books: the first on astronomy and the second on the science of the dynasties ².
