the Cave and al-Raqim
الكهف والرقيم
The site of the Sleepers' slumber: al-Balqa's claim is rejected by al-Umari, who cites al-Harawi's own visit to it at the ruined city of Absus — Ephesus — near Abulustayn in Byzantine lands; a third claim makes Decius's city Toledo, but the soundest view locates it in the lands of Rum 1.

Overview
al-Kahf wal-Raqim: the place where the People of the Cave slept. al-Balqa claims that it is there, and al-Umari rejects that. 2
al-Umari reports on the authority of al-Harawi that he visited it in the land of the Romans, near a ruined city called Abbasus, close to Ablastin, that is, Ephesus. It is also said that the city of Daqyanus is Toledo. al-Umari holds that what is in the land of the Romans is correct. 2
