Overview

Arjan: a city in the land of Persia, according to al-Idrisi. From Arjan to the village of Asak are two stages, to al-Dawraq one stage, and then to al-Basyan. ²

An additional source is needed to fix its relation to Arrajan, which al-Baladhuri mentions.
