Khanfu is a city at the far end of the land of China, eight days' journey from Khanku. Al-Idrisi says he will describe it in the tenth part. 2
According to Ibn Khurradadhbih
Ibn Khurradadhbih says that Khanfu was the greatest port for Chinese ships. It has fruit, vegetables, wheat, barley, rice and sugar cane. On every port of China there is a great river that ships enter with the tide. China has three hundred flourishing cities, of which ninety are famous. 3
