Overview

Kuwayfa Ibn Umar is a place that the Muslims scouted before Kufa, and found that water surrounded it. It is also said that Sa'd turned toward it the troops of Aspanbar and the Kurds of Bandadh, before Kufa, according to al-Baladhuri. 1
