Overview

Mandusan is a revered house (temple) in the land of India, which the Indians venerate and to which they offer sacrifices. In it are magnetic stones that attract and repel. Al-Mas'udi says that reports cannot fully convey their qualities. He counts it among the revered houses built after the names of the stars. 2
